Caution! It’s Boozier Than You Think.
Sights: Not much to report here. It’s pink and it has a lemon…
Smells: A whiff of citrus from that big ol’ lemon hunk.
Tastes: Rickey is generally suspicious of any cocktail that tastes alcohol free (like, are you trying to swindle him into getting drunk, Disney? ‘Cause that’s really not necessary).
In other words, this tastes like a blackberry lemonade, full stop. And while it’s highly drinkable, it does not quite measure up to its cousin, the Moonshine Sour at EPCOT. It would need a little more depth and richness to compare to that version (found at the Regal Eagle in the American Adventure Pavilion).
Feels: Light and refreshing.
Rick’s Tricks: Squeeze your lemon in and give it a stir if you want a little extra citrus kick.
Overall: This is probably the best choice for an easy going, light cocktail in this area of the park. It’s citrusy, with a good amount of sweetness from the lemonade and the blackberry syrup. Just beware, you don’t really know how much booze you’ve consumed until you’re doing a sloppy stagger down Sunset Boulevard before noon.
