Drink Review: Fuzzy Tauntaun

Rating

Proceed With The UTMOST Caution

Sights: This drink is straight wild. The actual liquid just looks like orange juice, but the foam explosion on the top gives it extra pizzazz.

Smells: No scents exude from this foamy monster. Perhaps that is a good thing.

Tastes: If you’ve ever had a fuzzy navel after getting punched in the face, you’ll understand this drink. The foam is a bit tart, but the rest of the cocktail is almost entirely peach with a just a touch of orange juice. At the end you’ll ride that flavorless, burning vodka wave with a smidge of lingering peach.

Feels: SPOILER ALERT: It’s like when you have a bunch of drunks loitering in your living room at 4am. It feels both numb and like a party that you desperately want to end.

Rick’s Tricks: You can get extra buzz button tingling foam on the side if you ask. You can also get a straw to cut through the foam, but the bartenders will likely heckle you.

Overall: Ugh. Rickey thinks the Fuzzy Tauntaun is the Cinderella’s Royal Table of cocktails. It’s not that good, but it’s also kind of a one-and-done, must-try.
