It Won’t Get You Sauced, But It WILL Make You Happy
Sights: Mmmmmm… That thick layer of cream on the top makes Rickey feel so dang much joy. Plus there are “chocolate puffs” on the top, which we guess is just what they call Cocoa Puffs on Batuu.
Smells: It smells like simpler times, with cartoons and chocolate cereal and maybe a hint of coffee in the background…
Tastes: If there is alcohol in this, it was unbenownst to Rickey. The Godiva is not high proof enough to make much of a difference there, though it does add some chocolately flair. The best part of this concoction is that sweet cream cheese, which gets all up in your stache for future lickins. Additionally, the drink’s not overly cloying and the cold brew’s decent for good ol’ Joffrey and his coffee.
Feels: Creamy with a decent heft about it.
Rick’s Tricks: They will offer you a spoon, but there are no straws to be found at Kat Saka’s Kettle (hence the cream stache). You can snag one nearby at Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7. But we sorta suggest just raw doggin’ it. Then you get all the flavors at once (a real fine treat).
Also, if you’re really looking for a mega boozy coffee cocktail, head to the China Pavilion at EPCOT for the Tipsy Ducks in Love. It packs a punch, while this one only packs a light tap from Nana’s arthritic hands.
Overall: This almost doesn’t qualify as a cocktail, but Rickey doesn’t care. It’s delicious, not overly sweet, nostalgic and caffeinated. So go for it if those are qualities you care about in a drink.
